During Lent – Water, Light and Life
(4 sessions) Water, Light, and Life: A Lenten Parish Mission is a multi-generational program that invites participants to reflect on the need for conversion and renewal during Lent. Taking its cue from the Period of Purification and Enlightenment of the OCIA, this four-session mission explores the stories of the Samaritan woman at the well, the curing of the man born blind, and the raising of Lazarus from John’s Gospel, and invites the participants to consider how they journey to Easter and prepare to celebrate baptism and the renewal of their baptismal promises. |
After Easter – From Mass to Mission
(5 sessions) From Mass to Mission is an insightful exploration of the Mass and its importance for our life of faith and Christian discipleship. Each chapter explores the parts of the Mass, helping you understand the meaning of the prayers, responses, acclamations, gestures, signs, and symbols. From Mass to Mission will inspire you to participate more fully in the Mass and to carry out your mission as Christ’s disciple, bringing forth his light to a world in need. |
